LCP Coaching
Privacy policy
This notice explains how Lisa Parker trading as LCP Coaching (“I”, “me”, “Lisa”) handles personal data when you use this website or get in touch.
What I collect
Enquiry form
- Name, email address, topic, message
- Optional phone number
- Whether you confirmed you have read this policy
- Whether you opted in to occasional news and resources
Technical / security
- Basic server and security logs (for example IP address, browser type, and timestamps) may be processed by the hosting provider to keep the site secure and working
- If anti-spam tools are enabled on the form, they may process limited technical signals to block bots
Email updates (only if you opt in)
Your name and email are stored with the mailing provider (EmailOctopus, or a successor tool listed here if it changes) so I can send occasional news and resources. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Analytics (not in use)
This site does not use Google Analytics or any other analytics tool, and it sets no analytics cookies. If that changes, this page will be updated first, and any analytics would only run after you accept non-essential cookies through a cookie banner.
Why I use your data (lawful bases)
- To reply to your enquiry: legitimate interests (and steps toward a contract if we start working together)
- Marketing emails: only with your consent (the optional tick box)
- Running and securing the website: legitimate interests
- Analytics: not applicable, as none is in use. If analytics is added, the lawful basis will be consent
- Legal or regulatory duties: legal obligation, where it applies
Who I share data with
I use trusted service providers who process data on my instructions:
- Website hosting (Hostinger)
- Form and site software (WordPress, Fluent Forms, and related plugins)
- Email delivery / SMTP (Resend)
- Email marketing (EmailOctopus), only if you opt in
- Analytics: none in use at present
I do not sell your personal data. I may share information if the law requires it, or to protect someone’s vital interests (for example safeguarding concerns).
How long I keep it
- Enquiry submissions: kept while needed to handle your request, then reviewed; typically deleted or anonymised within 12 months unless we are still working together or there is a good reason to keep a record
- Marketing list: until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion
- Analytics: none collected, so nothing is kept
- Security logs: according to the host’s normal retention
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, restrict or object to certain processing, and (where processing is based on consent) withdraw consent. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk.
To exercise your rights, email lisa@lcpcoaching.co.uk.
ICO registration
Most sole traders who process personal data need to pay the ICO data protection fee. Registration status and number will be added here once Lisa confirms.
Placeholder: ICO registration number: TBC
Cookies
Essential cookies (or similar storage) may be needed for the site and forms to work securely. No analytics or advertising cookies are set, so there is no cookie banner, because there is nothing non-essential to agree to.
If analytics is added later, a banner will appear before any of it runs, and you will be able to change or withdraw consent through it.
Children and young people
Coaching may involve young people. Where a parent or guardian makes an enquiry, I process their contact details to respond. Any work with a young person is arranged with appropriate consent and safeguarding in mind (see the terms of reference).
Changes
I may update this notice. The “last updated” date at the top will change when I do. Important changes will be reflected on this page before launch and after any material update.
