LCP Coaching
Terms of reference
These terms of reference summarise how coaching with Lisa Parker (LCP Coaching) works. They are not a substitute for an individual coaching agreement you may be asked to sign before sessions start.
Who I am
Lisa Parker is an Occupational Psychologist offering warm, trauma-informed ADHD and neurodiversity coaching for individuals, families, young people/students, and workplaces. Sessions may be online or in person (Essex and surrounding areas), as agreed.
What coaching is, and what it is not
- Coaching supports reflection, strategies, goals, and practical change in everyday life, study, or work
- Coaching is not therapy, counselling, medical advice, diagnosis, or a substitute for NHS or other clinical care
- If something sits outside coaching (for example acute mental-health crisis), I may suggest you contact an appropriate service or professional
Working together
- An enquiry through this website does not create a coaching contract or book a session
- If we decide to work together, we will agree practicalities (frequency, format, fees) and you may receive a coaching agreement to sign
- You remain responsible for decisions you make; coaching offers support and challenge, not instructions you must follow
Confidentiality and its limits
What you share in coaching is treated as confidential. Limits include where:
- There is a risk of serious harm to you or someone else
- There are safeguarding concerns about a child or vulnerable adult
- The law requires disclosure (for example a court order)
- You ask me to share something with a third party (for example an employer or Access to Work), with your agreement
Safeguarding (young people)
Where coaching involves young people, I work with appropriate parental/guardian involvement and follow safeguarding good practice. Concerns about safety may need to be shared with parents/guardians or relevant agencies.
Fees, invoices and Access to Work
- Fees are as published on the website or as quoted for organisational work
- Payment terms will be confirmed before sessions begin (and in any coaching agreement)
- Where Access to Work or another funder is involved, invoicing details must be agreed in advance; you remain responsible for ensuring funding arrangements are in place
Cancellations and missed sessions
Please give as much notice as you can if you need to rearrange. The notice period and any late-cancellation or missed-session fees will be set out in your coaching agreement. Reasonable flexibility is offered where possible for illness or unexpected caring needs.
Website and enquiries
- Website content is general information, not personal advice
- Form submissions are handled as described in the privacy policy
- I aim to reply within a few working days; response times may vary when demand is high
Complaints
If something does not feel right, please email me first so we can try to resolve it: lisa@lcpcoaching.co.uk. If you remain unhappy and a professional body or regulator is relevant to the issue, you may also use their complaints route.
Coaching agreement PDF
A downloadable coaching agreement may be linked here once Lisa confirms the final PDF. Until then, any agreement will be shared directly before coaching starts.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
